FundaMaya Canada is an organization dedicated to helping indigenous families in rural Guatemala.

One child at a time; one family at a time

Sponsorships

Education is key to improving the lives of these children and their families. To sponsor a child $672 annually; $56 per month.  For fee structure for elderly or university sponsorships, click on "Items to Donate" on the menu across the top or contact lois@fundamayacanada.ca. There are many children waiting for the opportunity to go to school!

Family Aid Donations

Families are in desperate need of food and medical assistance.  Other needs are household basics, water filters and more. Click on the menu above on "Items to Donate" to learn more about these donation opportunities and related costs.  Examples of the types of basic needs for education and family aid in our programs may be found by following the Guatemalan FaceBook pages "Fundamaya" and "Amigos de FundaMaya".

Sponsor Visits and Volunteer Opportunities

Visits with students and their families, sponsored elderly, or the preschools are heartwarming and life changing.  To arrange a visit or to learn about volunteer opportunities in Panajachel, Guatemala, please contact our Guatemalan service provider at info@fundamaya.org.

Rainy season in Guatemala means increased need for food.  Please donate.
